Our young and dynamic trio of qualified sommeliers is ready to answer any question you may have about wine. All three have gathered national and international experience in top-class catering before coming together at the Alpenrose. Enjoy a weekly wine tasting in the red wine cellar of our WineLounge or join a wine cellar tour with a specialist wine tasting and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of wine.
Allergies won’t spoil the holiday fun for any of our guests. Our kitchen team knows all about the special needs of allergy sufferers and provides a range of special food and dishes. We are happy to speak to families affected by allergies and put together a holiday meal plan to suit your needs. As well as lactose-free milk and milk products we have a variety of gluten-free foods available.
The WineLounge – our à-la-carte restaurant
Alongside our hotel restaurant you also have the option to enjoy a meal in our à-la-carte restaurant (not part of our all-inclusive offer). Fine wines and fantastic food in a wonderful atmosphere - that’s the way to enjoy life! Please speak with reception to reserve a table.
Our WineLounge pays special attention to acquiring wines from carefully selected winemakers from wine-growing regions across Austria. Some are more well-known that others, but all are of preferential quality. Alongside familiar producers, our wine list also features wines from top-class aspiring winemakers. With a selection of more than 350, predominantly Austrian, wines and a large choice of brandies we hope to have created a place where there is something for those who want more from their dining experience.
Our recipe book – magical moments for your taste buds
Guests regularly ask for the recipe for some of our dishes. We don’t want to give away all our secrets, of course – but for you, as our guest, we can provide a peek into our specialty recipe book with a selection of dishes that will be served during your stay with us.
A culinary symphony
Pleasure for the taste buds, a feast for the eyes and enjoyment for body and soul – this is the best way to describe the options available on our set menus and themed buffets. From Sunday to Friday you can put together your own perfect meal from a range of starters, soups, main courses and desserts (including vegetarian and vegan options). The salad and cheese buffet lets you put the finishing touches to your personalised meal. On Saturdays we provide indulgent themed buffets which change each week.
