Whether it’s a campfire with delicious campfire bread, mulled wine and (plank smoked) salmon on the hotel terrace, or a torch-lit hike against the backdrop of the mighty Zugspitze and the Wetterstein mountains – the autumn and winter seasons are filled with (delightful) ambiance.
Our famous highlights, which are all of course above the usual standards, are naturally guaranteed as the Christmas season grows nearer. Even for a five ‘smiley’ children’s hotel, the 2,000 m² play paradise with cinema, soft play area, go-cart track, giant slide over five floors and everything else you need – as well as up to 13 hours of baby and child care, divided in five age groups (from 7 days to 16 years old), seven days a week, is extraordinary.

- Mondays: Raclette on the hotel terrace
- Wednesdays: Campfire with special planked grilled salmon, chestnuts and mulled wine on the hotel terrace
- Fridays: Family torch-lit hike in the valley basin followed by a cosy get-together at the fire pit
- Sundays: Family barbecue with delicious campfire bread at our barbecue site
- Special: Gourmet evening with the Strehn Winery – We welcome you to an aperitif. During the get-together in the restaurant, Pia Strehn will introduce the Strehn wine estate. The carefully selected wines from the star winemaker will be accompanied by a 5-course gourmet dinner prepared by the kitchen team, led by Dominik Maier, exclusively for the guests who have booked the special Strehn evening package. As the evening comes to an end we say goodbye to you with a small give-away. Package price: € 50.00 per person incl. gourmet dinner and wine accompaniment
About the winery: The star from the land of Blaufränkisch
The Strehn winery stands for pure, straightforward and individual Blaufränkisch wines. A family business in the best sense. Pia, her two brothers Patrick and Andy, and their mother Monika, are involved with a lot of wine expertise and fun. Together they cultivate around 50 hectares of vineyards with vines that are up to 60 years old in Mittelburgenland, also known as the “land of the Blaufränkisch”.
The Strehn family all agree: „Home is where Blaufränkisch is“ – for the family, Blaufränkisch is more than just a grape variety, a wine, a scent, a taste, a colour …It is rather a commitment to and an attitude to life. Blaufränkisch plays all the pieces: A casual rosé, a cool, red, juicy wine for the barbecue, a black-berry, tobacco powerhouse from the clay or a fragile, sensual seducer from the limestone.
Strehn’s vineyards are largely located on soils that have a good water storage capacity. In dry years, this has a particularly positive effect on the quality of the wines. In Deutschkreutz, however, they have a variety of different soils. Clay, loess, gravel, lime, even chalk can be found at the Strehns.

Sumptuous breakfast, lunch and afternoon buffets with sweet and savoury treats (top gourmet cuisine), 5-course set menus in the evening and non-alcoholic drinks, specialty coffees and teas from the beverage station, available around the clock.
Baby and child care
The child care service is provided for those from 0 to 16 years in different age groups, 7 days a week from 08:30 to 21:00 by 25 professional child minders.
Play area
Fun is guaranteed over an area covering 2,000 m² inside and 5,000 m² outside, ensuring that boredom will always be kept at bay while on holiday. Whether the kids are cycling fast laps on the hotel's bicycles or Bobby cars or playing on our outdoor-playground area - adventure is just a hop, skip and a jump away!
Swimming and sauna complex
Our pools with an incredible 360 square meters of water and the kidspool baths tantalisingly invite to take a dip. In the sauna complex, six different saunas really heat things up and the waterbeds and sound beds allow you to dreamily switch off from everyday life. The whole family relaxes in our separate family sauna area.
In room amenities
Our accommodations offer everything necessary for a relaxed family holiday. All sorts of practical extras such as a baby monitor, a Nespresso machine, a bag with bathrobes and bath towels, as well as a Bluetooth sound dock are included in the rooms.
Pack lightly
We're more than happy to help you pack lightly. Many travel and practical needs can be loaned here at no extra charge such as a cot, a baby rocker, a buggy or reclining pram, a humidifier, a nappy pail and changing mat.

Our varied weekly program for parents and children offers a wide range of activities that promote fun and education in equal measure. From interactive workshops and exciting excursions to creative handicrafts and sporting activities - there is something for every taste to experience unforgettable moments together.
Safe parking
A safe and weatherproof underground car park is guaranteed for all guests. Eight E-charging stations are available for electric vehicles for those traveling in an environmentally friendly way – price per kWh € 0,59.
On top & mobile
Driving fun is included in the room rate. Segways are at your disposal for a little side trip into nature. Vehicles can be booked at reception.
