Ten new family suites
The new extension, on the east side of the hotel, is home to the baby and children’s club, fitness studio, as well as ten modern suites in three categories. All the new suites have breathtaking views of the Wetterstein mountains, with the Zugspitze at it’s centre.
- Suite Monte: Bedroom/living room, children’s room with bunk bed, bathroom, approx. 54 m²
- Suite Monte Plus: Living room, bedroom, children’s room with bunk bed and single bed, two bathrooms, approx. 66–71 m²
- Suite Grand Monte: Living room, bedroom, two children’s rooms 1x with bunk bed and 1x with single bed, two bathrooms, approx. 74 m²
Beautiful and fun-filled pool area
This year, we have taken the plunge – and have expanded the pool to the incredible size of 360 m², and the total pool area to 700 m². This means plenty of room for cosy loungers and secluded relaxation spots, inviting you to unwind and enjoy your family holiday. In a separate children’s swimming area there is the new kidspool with a pirate ship, a triple fun slide, a “Kamikaze” tube slide, a 60m long tube slide, a lazy river, and a grotto. All this in addition to the existing speed tube water slide (90 m)! In total, you have 500 m² of water fun for you and the kids. We haven’t forgotten about the youngest ones either. Babies are able to safely splash around in a separate “Underwater world” baby pool.
Expanded sauna and wellness area
The sauna area is now an Adults Only area and a special family sauna area was constructed right next to the swimming pool. Here, families can enjoy the relaxation of a spacious steam bath, an entertainment sauna or the infrared sauna together. A separate rest area is of course available to cool down in.
A dazzling baby and kids club with family play area
Here, 800 m² of sun-filled rooms – all with glass fronts and private garden access – awaits entertainment and games. Take advantage of the specially dedicated family play area with family challenges for some treasured time together. There are table tennis, table football, air hockey, darts, a video game room for virtual games and an indoor bouncy castle available for the tireless little ones. The teens get their own club.

Fitness studio with panorama views
We have constructed 175 m² of top-floor space, arguably sporting some of the best views in town of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, for our new fitness studio. The fitness studio was fitted with state-of-the-art Techno-Gym machines and equipment, catering to any fitness goals you may have. This, and the breathtaking views encapsulating the studio, is sure to set a motivating setting to work out even when on a relaxing holiday. Of course, that is only if you want to – we are, after all, a wellness hotel too.
Top-notch playground
On the top of the new extension we now have approx. 1.300 m² of playground area. Parents can let their gaze wander from the Zugspitze to the Sonnenspitze and beyond, from Handschuhspitze to Biberwier and our local mountain, Grubigstein, while keeping a watchful eye of the kids at play – all from the comfort of tranquil bungalows and lounges. The kids can let off steam on the adventurous playground, the bouncy castle, on the “flying fox”, or by the water play area.
Expanded restaurant and Buffet
The restaurant was given more space, as the popular restaurant terrace where you can enjoy warm summer evenings under the enchanting Tyrolean starry sky. Our helpers have also done a great job at the buffet area.
New bar and wine shop
The conservatory is the place for a new cake and snack buffet, as well as a wine bar and tasting room.
